Hi! My name is Monami, and I am in my final year of studying Biological Sciences at University in London. I've lived in Japan for about 5 years, and afterwards, spent most of my life in Singapore attending international schools. I love helping people learn English as I think its a great way to communicate with many people all over the world.
My advice to anyone who wants to improve English, especially speaking, is to 'act confident', and no one will question you! This is something I tell myself often too, as I'm currently learning to speak Spanish :)
Hi everyone! My name is Haruka and I'm a sophomore at Hitotsubashi university. I major in economics. I'm not so good at sports, but I belong to the archery club at university. My hobby is to watch movies, listen to music, and play the piano.
Learning a new language is exciting and teaches us a lot of new things. I hope I can help you enjoy learning English :)
My name is Eri and I used to teach at Catal for more than two years. I feel incredibly passionate about teaching Engligh as it allows me to share my experiences and pass them along to the next generation. I am currently based in Singapore, and I am a CELTA certified teacher.
Up until secondary school, I grew up mostly in Germany and England. I majored in political science at Keio University and studied at Dartmouth College, U.S. as an exchange student.
My hobby is classical ballet, and I also enjoy spending time in the nature. One of my favourite memories from the U.S. is when I was a member of the Dartmouth's maple sugaring crew during the spring term: the highlight of it was when I spent a week in the cabin, collecting sap and boiling them in the sugar shack.
I'm delighted to know that so many of you have embarked on this journey to becoming better writers. Writing empowers you - by training you to think logically and critically, it equips you with various tools that enable you to make your voice heard.
I cannot wait to see your essays and I hope you enjoy this exciting journey with us!
